A new campaign has been launched with the aim to shift activity away from NHS-111 telephone to an online platform to ease the current pressures.
111.nhs.uk will prompt patients to follow a triage process based on their symptoms. The patient will be given specific advice which could include to contact their GP, to visit a UTC or walk in service, to go to ED or to look after themselves at home.
Please note that this service is for patients over the age of 5 years , for a child under 5 years please call NHS 111 as normal.
